Beginnings with the Mavic Pro
I started my drone journey in 2017 with the Dji Mavic Pro. It was an incredible introduction to aerial photography and flight, offering hours of exploration and new perspectives from above. Unfortunately, after many successful flights, a broken propeller led to a crash at Simos Beach, Elafonisos. The drone fell into the sea and was recovered after an hour underwater, but sadly it did not survive.
A New Chapter: The Mini 4K
Lately, I purchased the Dji Mini 4K and have been enjoying flying it immensely. The Mini 4K is lightweight, versatile, and easy to carry anywhere, making it perfect for spontaneous flights. It has rekindled my enthusiasm for capturing unique aerial shots and exploring new landscapes from above.
Why I Love Flying Drones
Drones combine technology, creativity, and adventure. Each flight is both a technical challenge and an artistic opportunity, whether it’s capturing a dramatic coastline, a mountain landscape, or simply the joy of flight itself. For me, drones are about perspective — seeing the world in ways that ground-based views can never offer.
